Templates' Blog Logo

In our Blogger templates, blog logo is the image that appears before, behind, above or next to the blog name.

How the logo appears on the blog depends on which of our templates is in use on the blog.

Because we aim to simplify our template documentations and guides, we have decided to consolidate some of our template's features' how-to setup guides such that we would have a single page to contain the setup instructions for any such feature.

On this single page, we would be containing the setup instructions for our Blogger templates logo versions.

Meanwhile it should be noted that, which version of the Blogger Logo is featured on a template is stated and linked on the template's sales page under the template features section.

Blog Logo v1: Simplified Version

This Blog Logo v1 Simplified version is our initial version and it is the version that is featured in most of our earliest Blogger templates.

This version is optimized for speed and conforms with the latest SEO guidelines.

How to Upload your Blog Logo on Templates Using the Blog Logo v1 - Simplified (From Text Editor: NotePad++, Sublime etc)

1. I assume you are already logged into your blogger blog.

2. Click Post from the blogger main menu (to your left) then click the plus icon as seen in the image below. Clicking that will open a new post editor.

   

3. Next, click the image upload icon as seen in the image below. Clicking that will pop out an upload wizard that allows you upload an image on blogger.

   

4. Using the upload wizard above, upload your blog logo and copy the image link as seen from the image below.

   

5. Now, on your text editor where you already have the template.xml file opened, search for:

6. Now, replace the blog image logo link in step 5 above with blog logo image link you copied from the step 4. See the image below.

   

7. Click SAVE to effect the changes made.

How to Upload your Blog Logo on Templates Using the Blog Logo v1 - Simplified (From Web Browsers on Blogger.com)

1. I assume you are already logged into your blogger blog.

2. Click Theme from the blogger main menu (to your left).

   

3. From the page that opens, click the radio button that has an icon pointing downward in it and then click Edit HTML. After a few seconds or minutes depending on your device speed and your internet connection, a page should be displayed revealing a whole lots of codes.

   

4. Now, click anywhere inside that whole lots of codes and press CTRL + F. This will pop out a search widget that allows you search within the source codes content only.

   

5. Just copy and paste the line of code below onto the search widget seen in the image above then, press Enter.

6. Now, replace the blog image logo link in step 5 above with blog logo image link you copied from the step 4. See the image below.

   

7. Finally, click SAVE to effect the changes made.

   

NOTE:

• If you choose to, you may also upload your blog logo on another image upload server. But to make your blog load really faster, it is recommended that you use blogger.
• Regardless of the resolution of your blog logo, the image is automatically resized to 35px by 35px. Therefore, I recommend that you use an image of 60px by 60px resolution at maximum.
